Job Overview

Position: We are seeking a Lead Garage Door Technician to take charge of our operations. This role involves overseeing the installation and maintenance of both commercial and residential garage doors. The position is permanent and full-time, with potential for additional on-call responsibilities and overtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure all safety training and certifications are up to date, addressing any renewal requirements in a timely manner.
  • Cultivate new client relationships while nurturing existing ones, emphasizing exceptional customer service.
  • Accurately complete necessary documentation daily and in a timely manner.
  • Maintain consistent punctuality and attendance.
  • Evaluate job specifications at the beginning of each assignment and communicate any concerns.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as required.
  • Travel as needed for service and installation tasks.
  • Provide precise estimates for service inquiries.
  • Collaborate effectively with scheduling personnel to resolve issues.
  • Execute welding tasks when necessary.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of various types of doors.

Qualifications

  • CDI Certification Levels 1 and 2.
  • Professional attitude with an emphasis on quality and safety.
  • Experience in servicing and installing overhead doors.
  • Valid Driver's Abstract.
  • Previous experience in related trades or construction fields.
  • Fire Door Certification.
  • Capability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screenings.
  • Additional safety certifications are a plus.
