About the Role

Abe's Door Service Ltd. is seeking a skilled Garage Door Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for installing and repairing exterior prefabricated products, including garage doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install exterior prefabricated products, including garage doors, with precision and attention to detail.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installations.
  • Repair and service exterior prefabricated products, including garage doors, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Determine layout and installation procedures to ensure efficient and effective installations.
  • Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations, ensuring accurate and precise measurements.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies, including tools and equipment, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of materials.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to perform installations and repairs, ensuring safe and efficient work practices.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights, with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs), with ease and precision.
  • English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
