About the Job

Abe's Door Service Ltd. is seeking a skilled Garage Door Installation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for installing and repairing exterior prefabricated products, including garage doors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install exterior prefabricated products, including garage doors, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installations.
  • Repair and service exterior prefabricated products, including garage doors, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Measure and mark guidelines for installations to ensure accurate placement and alignment.
  • Prepare and maintain work materials and supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment, ensuring safe and secure transportation.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to perform installations and repairs.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work outdoors and at heights, with regular exposure to physical demands and heavy loads.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
