At Crop Intelligence, our goal is to provide our clients with timely insights that maximize crop yield using available water resources. We are seeking a qualified individual for the Regional Agronomy Business Specialist position to contribute to this mission.

ROLE OVERVIEW:
You will operate within your designated region to:

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with vendors, clients, and insight partners to enhance awareness of Crop Intelligence’s insights, subscriptions, and hardware offerings.
  • Collaboratively develop and support the execution of sales objectives with vendors to boost the volume of hardware and subscription services.
  • Manage leads generated from referral partners, trade shows, and online inquiries throughout the sales process.
  • Act as the primary contact for sales initiatives provided by Crop Intelligence.
  • Educate and engage all vendors, clients, and partners on the insights provided by our products to help end-users optimize their Water Driven Yield Potential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Gather and relay feedback on new insights and hardware products to be designed to meet customer demands. Support field operations to ensure high-quality data collection for accurate insights.

QUALIFICATIONS:
We are looking for candidates who:

  • Understand that business success is a collaborative effort and thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Possess a passion for agronomy, constantly seeking new insights by linking data from our hardware to address real-world challenges.
  • Are committed to continuous professional development, holding a bachelor’s degree, CCA, and/or P.Ag., while staying informed about advancements in agronomy.
  • Have a strong desire to cultivate long-term relationships, enhancing experiences for both vendors and clients.
  • Are comfortable speaking publicly and engaging audiences effectively.
  • Have three or more years of experience working directly with decision-makers in agricultural settings.
  • Exhibit a high drive for success within a flexible schedule, as this role involves significant travel.
  • Have developed effective organizational systems to manage multiple priorities throughout the day.
