About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at Levi Phillip Andres. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Medications: Safely administer medications to clients as prescribed by their healthcare providers.
  • Assist with Daily Living Activities: Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide Companionship: Provide companionship and social support to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Assist with Household Chores: Assist clients with household chores such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Plan Therapeutic Diets: Plan and prepare nutritious meals and snacks for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide Personal Care: Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with toileting, mobility, and transfers.
  • Shop for Groceries: Shop for groceries and household supplies for clients, ensuring they have access to the essentials.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and Health Care Aide Certificate.
Work Environment

As a Personal Support Worker with Levi Phillip Andres, you will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their own homes. You will be required to work independently, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to address the needs of clients.
