About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at SOLID VENTURES & SUPPORT SERVICES. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Infant Care and Education: Demonstrate infant care techniques to new parents, providing them with the skills and confidence to care for their little ones.
  • Meal Preparation and Nutrition: Prepare and serve nutritious meals, ensuring our clients receive the sustenance they need to thrive.
  • Housekeeping and Cleaning: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our clients.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies, taking care of our clients' daily needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Experience: Experience in a related field is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Work Setting: This is an on-the-road job, requiring flexibility and a willingness to relocate.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
