As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily activities. At Saige, we emphasize a personalized approach to care, ensuring that each client receives the attention and support they need.

Position Summary:

  • Deliver tailored care in accordance with individual care plans
  • Engage in effective communication with clients, team members, and Nurse Managers
  • Work collaboratively with clients, families, and our staff to improve overall well-being
  • Observe and report any changes in health status to Nurse Managers
  • Utilize a mobile application for documenting care provided

Main Duties:

  • Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Support with medication management and administration
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals
  • Manage household tasks and perform light cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and engage in social activities

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent qualification
  • Registered on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
  • Current HCP/BLS CPR Certification
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and willingness to drive
