As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily activities. At Saige, we emphasize a tailored approach to care, ensuring that each client receives the attention and support they need.

Position Summary:

  • Deliver individualized care in accordance with established care plans
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, team members, and Nurse Managers
  • Work collaboratively with clients and their families to improve overall well-being
  • Observe and report any changes in health status to Nurse Managers
  • Utilize a mobile application for accurate documentation of care

Core Duties:

  • Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, and dressing
  • Support medication management and administration
  • Plan and prepare nutritious meals
  • Oversee household tasks and light cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and foster social interactions

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent training
  • Active registration on the Alberta Health Care Aide Directory
  • Current HCP/BLS CPR Certification
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License and readiness to travel as needed
