About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Support Worker to join our team at SOLID VENTURES & SUPPORT SERVICES. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their dignity and well-being.
  • Infant Care and Nutrition: Demonstrate infant care techniques to new parents, ensuring they feel confident and empowered to care for their little ones.
  • Housekeeping and Meal Preparation: Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, as well as prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting a safe and healthy environment.
  • Shopping and Errands: Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring our clients have access to the essentials they need.
  • Relocation Support: Willing to relocate to support our clients, with relocation costs covered by the employer.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Work Setting: On the road job, with a 40-hour workweek.
  • Language: English.
