University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and organized Program Administrator to support the Residency Program in the Department of Medicine.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-level specialized program support to the Program Director and the department, ensuring the smooth operation of the residency program. This includes coordinating curriculum development, scheduling, and tracking, as well as facilitating OSCEs, procedures, and other program activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate curriculum development and implementation, including scheduling and tracking
- Facilitate OSCEs, procedures, and other program activities
- Provide administrative support to the Program Director and department
- Coordinate and attend academic events and examinations
- Develop and generate necessary documents and participate in the accreditation process
- Ensure all work is compliant with University and College policies and procedures, applicable regulations, and accreditation standards
- Completion of Grade 12 and a recognized post-secondary business administration/administrative assistant program
- Three to five years of related experience in administration
- Experience working and collaborating in a diverse environment
- Knowledge of Royal College Residency Training Programs, familiarity with accreditation processes, collective agreements, and experience with One45, Elentra, and CONCUR software
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with a diverse group of individuals, including faculty, trainees, and staff. The position requires excellent interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, as well as attention to detail and accuracy.
