Program Administrator

The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Administrator to provide specialized program support to the Department of Medicine.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Program Director and the department, ensuring the smooth operation of the residency program. This includes coordinating curriculum development, scheduling, and tracking, as well as providing administrative support for program events and activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate curriculum development and implementation, including scheduling and tracking
- Provide administrative support for program events and activities, including coordination of logistics and communication with stakeholders
- Assist with data collection and analysis, including tracking resident performance and program outcomes
- Develop and maintain program policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and university policies
- Collaborate with the Program Director and departmental staff to ensure effective program delivery
- Completion of a recognized post-secondary business administration or administrative assistant program
- Three to five years of related experience in administration, preferably in a postgraduate medical education setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong working knowledge of office software, including MS Office and Excel
The successful candidate will work in a shared office environment with other departmental administrative staff. Travel to national conferences and local workshops may be required.
