Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Safron's Caribbean Delight. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including traditional Caribbean and Latin American cuisine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Plan and prepare menus for special events and daily operations, ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, using a variety of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are adequate to meet demand.
  • Kitchen Operations: Manage kitchen operations, including cleaning, maintenance, and organization of kitchen equipment and supplies.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English language proficiency required.
  • Work Environment: Restaurant environment, with a fast-paced and physically demanding work environment.
Working Conditions
  • Work Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant setting, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and preparing high-quality dishes.
