Housekeeping Room Attendant

We are currently seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant. The Room Attendant is responsible for performing essential tasks in the cleaning and maintenance of guest accommodations and bathrooms under the guidance of the Housekeeping Supervisor and/or the Executive Housekeeper. Primary Responsibilities

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper or designated supervisor, the Room Attendant will:

  • Prepare guest rooms for cleaning.
  • Make beds in accordance with hotel standards.
  • Restock guestroom and bathroom supplies.
  • Deliver and collect items requested by guests, such as irons and ironing boards.
  • Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks as needed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and equipment.
  • Respond to guest calls, requests, and complaints within the assigned area.
  • Strive to achieve and surpass guest satisfaction.
  • Undertake additional tasks as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile...

  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds independently, and more than 25 pounds with assistance.
  • Capability to maneuver a loaded housekeeping cart and other equipment over uneven surfaces.
  • Flexibility to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, and stooping.
  • Willingness to stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods throughout the work shift.
  • Proficiency in grasping, turning, and manipulating objects of various sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
