Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Director to join our team at India House Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of our menu items, ensuring high-quality standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement new menu items, ensuring they meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Staff Supervision: Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure all menu items meet our high standards.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
