Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at AGAVE AUTHENTIC MEXICAN GRILL. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute menus that showcase our authentic Mexican cuisine
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
  • Train and mentor our kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
