Job Title: Director of Strategic Health Networks

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Strategic Health Networks to join our team at NL Health Services. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of health care in Newfoundland and Labrador.

About the Role

The Director of Strategic Health Networks will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within our health networks. This will involve working closely with our Senior Directors, Medical Leads, and other stakeholders to drive excellence in care delivery, improve health outcomes, and establish standards of care.

You will also be responsible for conducting financial and business analyses, developing recommendations, and ensuring that our activities are fiscally responsible and aligned with our organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within our health networks
  • Work closely with Senior Directors, Medical Leads, and other stakeholders to drive excellence in care delivery and improve health outcomes
  • Conduct financial and business analyses to inform decision-making and ensure fiscal responsibility
  • Develop recommendations and implement strategies to improve health outcomes and reduce unwanted practice variation
  • Collaborate with our Health Transformation Office and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a comprehensive understanding of the health system, experience in building, leading, and working collaboratively to build consensus and establish shared objectives within cross-functional teams. You will also need to have a proven track record of influencing and leading change and quality improvement initiatives.
