Respiratory Therapist

Graduation from a recognized program in Respiratory Therapy is required. Eligibility for registered membership with the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT) is also necessary.
Key Responsibilities:- Deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts, including patients, physicians, and the public.
- Operate respiratory therapy equipment and perform respiratory therapy procedures.
- Carry out the duties of the position, which requires physical ability.
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate respiratory methods and the operation of related equipment to patients and members of hospital staff.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
