Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Order Desk Coordinator to join our team at Argo Lumber. As the primary point of contact for client support and orders, you will be responsible for processing orders accurately and quickly, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring seamless order coordination and tracking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Order Processing: Process orders accurately and quickly as per customer or sales team direction.
  • Customer Service: Provide superior customer service on the phone and in-office visits, maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Order Coordination: Assist with order coordination and tracking from start to finish, ensuring all custom products meet customer requirements.
  • Shipping and Logistics: Track shipments in customer log books and handle any shipping issues.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete other tasks as required to support the Order Desk team.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years' Order Desk or customer service experience.
  • Customer Service Skills: Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service both on the phone and in person.
  • Communication Skills: Superior English both verbal and written.
  • Technical Skills: Strong computer skills, proficient in Word and Excel. Experience working with ERP or Order Entry Software is considered a strong asset.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience within the soft wood lumber or residential construction industry is preferred.
  • Organizational Skills: Must be extremely organized and comfortable juggling multiple tasks at once.
  • Teamwork: Works well individually and as part of a team.
  • Reliability: Must be punctual and reliable.
