University of Saskatchewan is seeking a highly skilled and organized Program Administrator to provide specialized program support to the Program Director and the department relating to postgraduate medical education.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-level administrative support to the Program Director and the department, ensuring the smooth operation of the residency program. This includes coordinating curriculum development, scheduling, and tracking, as well as providing administrative support for program events and activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate curriculum development and implementation, including scheduling and tracking of OSCEs, procedures, and other program activities
- Provide administrative support for program events and activities, including coordination of logistics and communication with stakeholders
- Develop and maintain program policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards and collective agreements
- Assist with data collection and analysis, including tracking of resident performance and program outcomes
- Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless program operations
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Completion of Grade 12 and a recognized post-secondary business administration/administrative assistant program
- Three to five years of related experience in administration, preferably in a postgraduate medical education setting
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong working knowledge of office software, including MS Office, Excel, and email
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
The successful candidate will work in a shared office environment with other departmental administrative staff. Travel to national conferences and local workshops may be required.
