Program Assistant, Master of Physician Assistant Studies
Job Summary:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Assistant to provide administrative support to the Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program. The successful candidate will work closely with the program team to ensure the smooth implementation and launch of the program.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive clerical support to the Admissions Lead, including managing applicant communications and records.
- Coordinate logistics and scheduling for curriculum-related activities, including booking rooms and arranging necessary equipment.
- Assist in organizing and executing the MPAS orientation, including scheduling presenters and managing event logistics.
- Facilitate the creation and distribution of necessary identification and access materials, such as hospital badges.
- Support the MPAS Program Manager with document management and other clerical tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the ongoing development and operation of the MPAS program.
- Ensure that One45/Elantra data is accurate for the MPAS program.
- Utilize Canvas, Panopto, One45, Elantra, and Zoom to support course delivery.
- Use SharePoint to manage committee work, policies and procedures, and student attendance.
Completion of Grade 12 and a recognized post-secondary administrative assistant program is required. An equivalent combination of training and experience may be considered. Three to five years of related experience is preferred.
Skills:This role requires highly effective interpersonal skills, the ability to develop and maintain working relationships with colleagues, and excellent verbal and written communication skills. The successful candidate will also possess the ability to prioritize and function in a demanding setting with numerous, often competing deadlines.
