Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Shelby's Shawarma. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Operations Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and prepare food order summaries for the chef.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and in a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
