About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Account Representative to join our team at Avelar Insurance & Financial Services Inc. As an Insurance Account Representative, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Establish and maintain personalized relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Insurance Product Expertise: Educate and advise clients on various insurance products, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of their coverage options.
  • Policy Administration: Work with clients to service their existing policies, including requests for changes and updates.
  • Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients to resolve any issues or concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance products to existing clients, driving business growth and revenue.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Insurance Knowledge and Experience: Previous experience in the insurance industry, with a strong understanding of insurance products and underwriting guidelines.
  • Time Management and Organization: Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities, with a high level of organization and attention to detail.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Insurance Licenses: Property and Casualty license (OTL or RIBO) is preferred, with the ability to obtain the necessary licenses.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in Spanish is an asset, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients who speak Spanish.
  • LLQP Life Insurance License: LLQP life insurance license is an asset, with the ability to provide comprehensive insurance solutions to clients.
