We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Event Safety Officer to join our team at CB Canada. As an Event Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our guests and staff at various events held at our Entertainment Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations individually or with a team, and complete emergency response and evacuation procedures as needed.
  • Crowd Control: Monitor and control crowds at events, ensuring the safety of all attendees.
  • Patrols and Inspections: Conduct internal and external security patrols of the Entertainment Center and parking lots, identifying and addressing any potential safety hazards.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Write daily logs and reports of all incidents, and provide incident reports for any suspicious or criminal activity.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with staff and guests via handheld radio, and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
  • Experience: Prior experience in the security field is essential, with a strong understanding of emergency response procedures and crowd control techniques.
  • Training: Must have level 1 First Aid training and be proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Word).
  • Language: Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset.
  • Age and Eligibility: Must be 19 years of age or older, and have employment eligibility in Canada.
Working Conditions
  • Physical Demands: Able to stand for long periods of time, work in a variety of weather conditions, and work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Security Clearance: Willing to submit to a criminal record check with results acceptable to our organization.
