About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Production Manager to join our team at ACUBE IMPEX LTD. as an Operations Lead. This is a permanent position with a 35-hour workweek.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance and Replacement

Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and recommend replacement of machines as needed.

Quality Control and Assurance

Direct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Team Leadership and Development

Hire, supervise, and train or oversee training of employees in the use of new equipment or production techniques.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory to ensure efficient production and minimize waste.

Process Improvement

Plan and implement changes to machinery and equipment, production systems, and methods of work to improve efficiency and productivity.

Financial Management

Plan and manage the establishment of departmental budget to ensure effective resource allocation.

Operational Management

Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth production and meet business objectives.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma.

Experience

At least 5 years of experience in food production management or a related field.
