Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at INDO CANADIAN FOOD HUT INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and ensure that financial resources are used effectively to achieve business objectives.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules, ensuring that staff are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods.
