Position Overview

The Director of Onboard Network and Communication Software Development in Operational Technology will oversee the comprehensive functional designs for subsystem elements. Engage with diverse teams to grasp the complete architecture and requirements before developing an in-depth design for the designated component or area of expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft specifications, design, and software solutions for onboard network and communication technologies
  • Facilitate project planning and execution across multiple initiatives or product enhancement roadmaps
  • Foster strong partnerships and deliver innovative strategies to optimize operations
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant I&T standards and project timelines
  • Oversee supplier responsibilities and project deliverables
  • Manage personnel responsibilities with support from HR
Work Environment

Standard office setting with a typical workweek. Ability to meet stringent deadlines and manage stress is essential.

Minimal travel may be required.

Qualifications
  • At least 15 years of experience in technical leadership and management roles
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred
