Job OverviewPrimary Duties
  • Oversee the administration of contracts and licensing across all distribution channels, ensuring all producers and their management are properly contracted, licensed, and appointed as required by state and provincial insurance authorities.
  • Deliver customer service support via our dedicated helpline, with phone assistance required on a scheduled and rotational basis.
  • Manage the processing of new contracting packages for producers and their management.
  • Examine contracting packages for completeness, following up on any outstanding contractual obligations.
  • Administer and evaluate background checks in accordance with established approval criteria, communicating with producers as needed to clarify financial or criminal aspects of the background check report; make recommendations for exceptions or declines when appropriate.
  • Facilitate state appointments for producers and their management, enabling them to represent Foresters.
  • Maintain accurate records of producer and management personal, contracting, and licensing information across all relevant systems.
  • Upon notification, process terminations for producers and management in the systems, ensuring proper notification to the relevant state or province.
  • Address and ensure the efficient and accurate resolution of daily inquiries via telephone and email regarding contracting and licensing matters, adhering to established service level standards.
  • Monitor and inform producers and management about expiring licenses, updating relevant systems with new information as necessary.
  • Track and notify producers and management about expiring errors and omissions coverage, updating systems accordingly with new information.
Essential Qualifications
  • Post-secondary diploma in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in French, both written and verbal, is considered an asset.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet various deadlines while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • Capable of adapting to constantly changing needs and schedules, organizing and prioritizing workload effectively.
  • Decisive with sound judgment and decision-making skills to resolve contracting and licensing issues effectively.
  • Familiarity with producer and management contracting processes in both Canada and the US is advantageous.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are essential.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills with a solid working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Experience with PMACS and the PMACS web portal is beneficial.
  • Availability to work within the hours of Insurance Operations (8:00 am – 8:00 pm).
