Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Volker Stevin Canada. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a pivotal role in aligning our People & Culture strategies with our overall business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with senior leaders, front-line leaders, and employees to deliver programs that are strategically aligned with both business and workforce planning goals.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to assigned leadership teams within specific subsidiary businesses, focusing on planning and executing the people components of the business strategy.
  • Drive organizational capacity, enhance capability, improve people experience, and manage risk.
  • Address employee concerns, conflicts, and grievances in a timely and fair manner, while adhering to company policies and legal regulations.
  • Stay up to date with labor laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure HR policies and practices are compliant.
  • Provide guidance to business leadership on pay decisions, promotions, and salary adjustments in line with market trends and internal equity.
  • Champion the implementation of organizational development initiatives, such as leadership development, succession planning, and training.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or College degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in human resources roles, with a focus on HRBP responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and Microsoft Office Suite.
