Job Summary

Kativik Ilisarniliriniq (La commission scolaire du Nunavik) is seeking a highly skilled Education Consultant for Digital Innovation to join our team. As a key member of our Education Services department, you will play a vital role in supporting the implementation, development, and evaluation of our digital action plan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to schools in the integration of digital technologies into their daily practice and curriculum development.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to ensure seamless integration of technology and education services.
  • Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to educators and staff on the effective use of digital tools and technologies.
  • Conduct needs assessments and provide recommendations for the development of educators' skills in the use of digital technologies.
  • Lead the team in achieving the goals of the Digital Action Plan.
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as education or a related field.
  • Experience as a teacher, preferably in a Nunavik school.
  • Fluency in at least two of the working languages of the Board (Inuktitut, French, English).
  • Strong computer literacy and proficiency in commonly used educational software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative and helpful nature.
  • Knowledge of the region of Nunavik and the Inuit culture is an asset.
