RMSI is seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our Gas/Electric T&D business, you will be responsible for executing account development and expanding our existing relationships with key accounts in the Natural Gas & Electric distribution sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of our customers' operations and internal organizational hierarchies to anticipate their needs and respond effectively.
- Build and manage relationships with existing and prospective customers at all levels of the organization to better understand their business needs.
- Drive new business growth in target accounts and expand existing accounts by selling services in data management, application development, and consulting.
- Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, and Technical teams to grow new business and identify new opportunities.
- Analyze industry trends and develop strategies to leverage RMSI's solution offerings for these trends and market requirements.
- Establish connections with key decision-makers and develop partnership strategies.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in GIS, marketing, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in Account Manager roles in the geospatial services industry within utilities.
- Industry Connect: In-depth understanding of the geospatial industry and connections.
- Domain Experience: Experience in Natural Gas & Electrical.
