Retail Team Supervisor

POSITION SUMMARY
The Retail Team Supervisor serves as a vital link between the management team and sales associates, playing a key role in the daily operations of the store while inspiring the team to surpass performance targets. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, this position offers support and coverage in the absence of Store and Assistant Managers. The Retail Team Supervisor exemplifies exemplary sales and customer service practices to foster a consistent, outstanding, and positive shopping experience for both customers and team members.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a retail apparel setting; experience in luxury retail is advantageous.
- A demonstrated ability to effectively lead a sales team and be recognized as a peer leader.
- Experience in managing POS systems, handling daily financial transactions, and submitting timely reports.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- A passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- The ability to work collaboratively while being self-driven.
- Availability for flexible weekly shifts, including weekends, closing shifts, and holidays.

- Helping to resolve customer service issues.
- Overseeing and delegating tasks to maximize operational efficiency.
- Providing performance feedback to store management regarding individual and team contributions.
- Ensuring that team members receive scheduled breaks and meal periods.
- Encouraging open communication on the sales floor.
- Ensuring compliance with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Carrying out opening and closing procedures, along with any inventory responsibilities as assigned.
