Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at 2620547 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, cashiers, and other retail personnel.
- Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively.
- Store Operations
- Assign sales staff to duties and ensure that all areas of the store are adequately staffed.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage cash handling procedures.
- Order merchandise and manage inventory levels to ensure that the store is well-stocked and visually appealing.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and are satisfied with their shopping experience.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Reporting and Analysis
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
- Skills and Abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
The Retail Store Supervisor will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and be able to work in a team environment.
