About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at RK Sweets & Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant, maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory levels.
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates, monitoring expenses and identifying areas for cost savings.
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional service and resolving issues promptly.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
