About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUN SET GRILL. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure high-quality standards.
    • Manage kitchen operations, including inventory management, stock control, and equipment maintenance.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, taking into account dietary requirements.
  • Inventory and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, ensuring efficient inventory management.
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to menu specifications.
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff, management, and other departments to achieve team goals.
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
