Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TIM HORTONS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to improve performance.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, and manage inventory levels to minimize waste.
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit budgets and cost estimates, and manage financial resources effectively.
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Conditions

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods and working under pressure to meet deadlines.
