Position Overview:

Role Purpose:
The New Student Experience Coordinator is integral in crafting, executing, and sustaining programs and initiatives that enhance student engagement and success. This position is essential in nurturing a supportive atmosphere that promotes student retention and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and develop programming that facilitates the transition and ongoing success of students, fostering personal and academic growth.
- Collaborate with campus stakeholders to assess and enhance existing programs.
- Design and implement events aimed at supporting new students in acclimating to university life.
- Oversee a variety of student-centered initiatives, both virtual and in-person, that cater to the needs of new students.
- Coordinate training and orientation activities that assist students in integrating into the university community.
- Plan and execute campus-wide events that connect students with essential resources.
- Manage the recruitment and training of student leaders and volunteers to support program activities.
- Establish metrics and evaluation methods to assess program effectiveness and student engagement.
- Maintain comprehensive records related to student participation and outcomes.
- Foster professional relationships with various partners within the university and the broader community.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a leadership capacity, particularly in student support or event management.
- Familiarity with best practices in student engagement and development.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse groups.
Compensation and Benefits:
