About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at MRSUB. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Analysis and Management

Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits and ensure financial stability.

Staff Performance Monitoring

Monitor and evaluate the performance of restaurant staff, providing feedback and coaching to improve their skills and productivity.

Daily Operations Planning

Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.

Staff Supervision

Supervise and manage restaurant staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.

Service Development

Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless delivery of these services.

Financial Management

Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.

Performance Reviews

Conduct regular performance reviews to evaluate staff performance and provide feedback for improvement.

Inventory Management

Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that the restaurant has the necessary supplies to meet customer demand.

Health and Safety

Ensure that the restaurant complies with all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.

Supplier Negotiations

Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies, ensuring that we get the best possible deals.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we maintain a positive reputation.

Event Management

Manage events and functions at the restaurant, ensuring that they are executed smoothly and efficiently.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Cultural Competency Training

Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.

Support for Indigenous People
  • Cultural Awareness Training

Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Work Term: Permanent

Work Language: English

Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
