Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Care Nurse Team Leader to join our team at Northern Health Authority. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and services in primary care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals to provide patient-centered care and services in primary care settings.
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to ensure high-quality patient care and services.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and services.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide high-quality patient care and services.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate degree in nursing, including community health content, from a recognized University.
  • Three (3) years recent related experience in nursing, including teaching, supervisory or program coordination experience.
  • Registration with BC College of Nursing Professionals as a practicing RN or RPN registrant (BCCNP).
  • Current valid Driver's License.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in nursing or a related field.
  • Experience in primary care nursing and leadership roles.
  • Knowledge of quality improvement principles and practices.
