Position Overview

Vancouver Coastal Health is seeking to recruit dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses and Clinical Nurse Specialists across various departments. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver nursing services to designated patients autonomously or collaboratively.
  • Improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
  • Work in partnership with other healthcare professionals.
  • Exhibit ongoing enhancement in nursing methodologies.
  • Maintain and advance clinical proficiency.
  • Engage in hospital committees and research initiatives as required.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current or potential registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives.
  • Specific qualifications for Mental Health & Substance Use nursing roles.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Thorough understanding of nursing principles and practices.
  • Awareness of BCCNM's standards for nursing practice.
  • Capability to design and execute effective care plans.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Expertise in clinical procedures and equipment usage.
