Job Title: GOMACO Operator

We are seeking a skilled and experienced GOMACO Operator to join our team at O'Hanlon Paving. As a key member of our concrete crew, you will be responsible for the safe operation of GOMACO concrete equipment and working collaboratively with our team to complete all duties and tasks associated with machine-poured concrete and road construction.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate GOMACO concrete equipment safely and efficiently
  • Work with crew members to complete tasks and duties
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Load, unload, and move equipment as needed
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating GOMACO equipment and working with concrete crews
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the municipal road building industry
  • Thorough knowledge of safe GOMACO operation and minor repairs
  • Ability to work continuously for prolonged periods under pressure
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license or above with a clean driver's abstract
  • High attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with little supervision
  • Willingness and ability to work extended hours and weekends
  • Valid safety certifications
Additional Information:
  • This is a seasonal position starting in the spring
  • This position is eligible for overtime
  • Company vehicle may be provided
  • Some travel outside of Edmonton may be required
  • Training will be provided for various activities
  • We offer excellent wages and benefit eligibility after 3 months
  • Potential on-call work during the winter months
