We are seeking a dedicated and skilled GOMACO Operator to join our team in a full-time seasonal role. The ideal candidate will embody the core values of Commitment, Attitude, and Respect that define our company culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate GOMACO concrete machinery
  • Collaborate with team members to execute tasks related to machine-poured concrete and road construction
  • Conduct daily preventative maintenance on equipment, including pre-trip inspections and greasing
  • Manage the loading, unloading, and movement of machinery

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience operating GOMACO equipment and working alongside concrete crews
  • A minimum of 3 years in the municipal road construction sector
  • Comprehensive understanding of GOMACO operation and basic repair techniques
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure for extended periods
  • Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license or higher with a clean driving record
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions
  • Capability to work in diverse weather conditions
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Valid safety certifications are required

Additional Information:

  • This is a seasonal role commencing in the spring
  • Overtime opportunities are available
  • A company vehicle may be provided
  • Travel outside of the primary work area may be necessary
  • Training will be offered for various tasks
  • We provide competitive wages and benefits eligibility after a probationary period, with the option to maintain benefits during the off-season.
  • Potential on-call duties during winter months for snow removal and early spring maintenance.
