O'Hanlon Paving is seeking skilled and dedicated GOMACO Operators for seasonal full-time roles. The ideal candidates will embody the company's core principles: Commitment, Attitude, and Respect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate GOMACO concrete machinery.
  • Collaborate with team members to fulfill all tasks related to machine-poured concrete and road construction.
  • Conduct daily preventative maintenance on equipment, including pre-trip inspections and greasing.
  • Load, unload, and relocate machinery as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience operating GOMACO equipment and working alongside concrete crews.
  • A minimum of 3 years in the municipal road construction sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GOMACO operation and minor repair techniques.
  • Ability to maintain focus and work efficiently under pressure for extended periods.
  • Possession of a valid class 5 driver's license or higher with a clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Capability to work in diverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to function both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to work extended hours and weekends as required.
  • Current safety certifications.

Additional Information:

  • This is a seasonal role commencing in the spring.
  • Eligible for overtime compensation.
  • A company vehicle may be available for use.
  • Some travel may be necessary.
  • Training will be provided for various tasks.
  • Competitive wages with benefits available after 3 months, including continued benefits during the off-season.
  • Potential on-call responsibilities during winter months for snow removal and early spring sweeping.
