Job Title: Transportation Fleet Manager

AL AZLAAN LOGISTICS INC. is seeking a highly skilled Transportation Fleet Manager to oversee the daily operations of our transportation department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and optimize daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor departmental performance and implement strategies to improve results.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
  • Manage finances and budget, including setting transportation service rates and monitoring revenue.
  • Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Oversee the maintenance of inventory and record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees.
  • Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
