Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Casual Custodian in Vanderhoof. As a Casual Custodian, you will be responsible for providing custodial and maintenance services to schools and other District facilities in accordance with established procedures, with regard to safety, health, and environmental considerations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform custodial and maintenance tasks in schools and other District facilities, including cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking supplies.
  • Operate and maintain equipment and machinery, such as vacuum cleaners, mops, and brooms.
  • Ensure that all areas are clean and safe for students, staff, and visitors.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities department.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in custodial or maintenance work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects.
