Full-time - 5 shifts per week, Wednesday - Sunday. Weekends mandatory mixture of brunch & dinner shifts

The Floor Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant floor. They are responsible for overseeing the front-of-house staff and ensuring a high standard of service. This position is pivotal in maintaining a positive dining experience for our valued customers.
**Customer Service**:
- Greet and welcome guests, ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. - Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally. - Monitor and ensure the quality of service provided by the front-of-house staff.
**Staff Management**:
- Supervise and train waitstaff and other front-of-house personnel.
- help with creating staff schedules and manage labour costs effectively.
- Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and implement performance improvement plans.
**Operations**:
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure efficient service and food delivery. - Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waitlists during peak hours.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Eye for detail - ensure a high level of maintenance is kept
**Quality Control**:
- Ensure food and beverages meet our high-quality standards.
- Address and resolve any service-related issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
**Compliance and Safety**:
- Enforce health and safety regulations and ensure staff adherence.
- Monitor compliance with alcohol service laws and responsible beverage service.
**Communication**:
- Act as a liaison between front-of-house and kitchen staff & facilitating smooth communication. - Report to the general manager and provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in a supervisory or management role in a restaurant. - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Familiarity with restaurant software for reservations and point of sale - we use TouchBistro

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 37 per week
