Dental Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Dental Assistant to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Public Health department, you will play a vital role in providing dental health prevention and promotion services to communities and populations in Northern Health.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide dental health prevention and promotion services to communities and populations in Northern Health
• Work in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
• Develop and implement programs to promote oral health and prevent dental disease
• Provide education and training to patients and communities on oral health and hygiene
Requirements
• Grade 12
• Successful completion of a recognized Certified Dental Assistant Program and 1 year's recent related experience
• Current registration and licensure as a Certified Dental Assistant in the College British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals
• Valid BC Driver's License and access to a vehicle for work purposes
