About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hotel Manager to join our team at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham West Edmonton. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Operational Policies

Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel, including staff supervision, guest services, and maintenance.

Staff Management

Recruit, train, and supervise a team of staff to ensure that our hotel is running efficiently and effectively.

Guest Services

Ensure that our guests receive exceptional service, including responding to guest complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.

Financial Management

Prepare and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make recommendations for cost savings and revenue growth.

Maintenance and Repairs

Oversee maintenance activities, including repairs, renovations, and capital projects.

Quality Assurance

Ensure that our hotel meets the highest standards of quality, including cleanliness, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Education

College or CEGEP diploma in a related field, such as hospitality or business administration.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in a hotel management role, with a proven track record of success in staff supervision, guest services, and financial management.

Language

Fluent in English, with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff.
