Job Summary:

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth for the Fantasyland Hotel by developing and executing strategic sales plans, building relationships with clients, and leading a team of sales professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase revenue and occupancy rates for the hotel.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients and decision-makers to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and provide coaching and guidance to ensure success.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Catering to develop and implement sales plans and strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the hotel's products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
  • Represent the hotel at industry events and conferences to build relationships and drive sales.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure the hotel remains competitive.
  • Other responsibilities as required.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a post-secondary education in hospitality, sales, or a related field.
  • Minimum five (5) years of previous related hotel/hospitality sales experience.
  • Proven ability to make sales presentations and possess strong public speaking skills and abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, computer, and organizational skills complemented by team building and motivating activities.

Terms of Employment:

  • This is a full-time position required Monday through Friday but also allows for a flexible schedule and reliable transportation that allows for both in and out of town travel and sales calls.
  • This position qualifies for the 4-day workweek program.
  • This is a salaried position that will depend on experience and qualifications.
  • Must be able to pass a basic security clearance and provide a clean driver's abstract every year.
