Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Client Relationship Manager, Commercial Banking to join our team at Scotiabank. As a key member of our Commercial Banking group, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our business clients, identifying new business opportunities, and developing and implementing strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with business clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Business Development
    • Develop and implement business development plans to drive growth and revenue.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including cross-selling and upselling existing clients.
  • Market Analysis and Research
    • Conduct market analysis and research to identify trends and opportunities in the commercial banking market.
    • Develop and maintain knowledge of market conditions, competitor activity, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, product specialists, and credit analysts, to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
    • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business plans.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Undergraduate degree in business or economics or work equivalency.
    • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in commercial banking or a related field.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong sales and closing skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to analyze complex financial data and develop strategic plans.
    • Strong relationship management skills.
