We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salon Manager to lead our team of stylists and support staff. As a Salon Manager, you will be responsible for the overall success of the salon, including managing operations, providing leadership and tools for success, and ensuring the highest quality of service for our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage all aspects of salon operations, including staff supervision, scheduling, and customer service.
- Lead by example, providing guidance and support to staff to increase their clientele and business success.
- Focus on the profitability of the salon, teaching stylists the ins and outs of business and ensuring the highest quality of service.
- Act as a coach and mentor to bring out the best in salon employees, creating a positive work environment and ensuring excellent customer service.
- Hire, recruit, train, and handle conflicts and client complaints with ease and professionalism.
- Current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to manage finances and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Basic math skills and ability to perform administrative tasks.
- Ability to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travel.
- Good eyesight to observe a guest's hair, including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to stand, lift, and reach for extended periods, occasionally lifting 10-25 lbs.
- Comfortable with fragrances and chemicals used in treatments.
